Note: This early access game is under development. The UBOAT game is a submarine simulator from the period of the Second World War, but it is unlike other similar games. Its mechanics are based on micromanagement and survival in the open world, and the main theme is the life of German submariners. The submarine is their home, capable of turning into a mass grave at any second. In UBOAT, you control the team first, and only then the boat. Keep an eye on the physical and mental health of your sailors. If they are hungry, tired and demoralized, you are doomed to defeat. Survival The survival mechanics of this game are based on a complex and elaborate damage system. The unpredictable situations that it can cause will test your resourcefulness and composure. You can try to save the whole team or sacrifice one person for the survival of many. On the high seas, you can rarely count on outside help. Improve your commanding skills by efficiently allocating available resources. In case of emergency, you can replenish their stock by contacting your allies for help... or by searching the wreckage of a sunken enemy ship. To extend battery life, turn off unnecessary equipment. To conserve oxygen, order the officers to stay in their bunks. To boost the morale of your comrades, play cards with them or turn on music from one of the nearest radio stations. Career in the Kriegsmarine During the game you will receive combat missions from the Kriegsmarine headquarters. They are never linear: by following them, you will receive new instructions and face unexpected problems. Dedicated performance of combat missions is rewarded with an increase in your budget and an increase in authority in the submarine fleet. You will need both to improve the submarine in order to keep up with the enemy in the technological race. Upgrade your submarine with the funds you receive. Exchange reputation points for additional powers. Buy new torpedoes, false targets, carbon dioxide sinks and other equipment. Send your officers on staff assignments to speed up research and gain other benefits. Reliable simulation The extremely realistic submarine model created in our game does not affect its accessibility at all.
