In the second expansion of Civilization VI, Gathering Storm, the world around you will come to life.

Leading the way to victory are advanced technologies and engineering projects, participation in the World Congress and interaction with the global community on key issues.

• NATURAL EVENTS: Volcanoes, storms (snow and sandstorms, tornadoes and hurricanes), climate change, floods and drought.
• ENERGY AND CONSUMABLE RESOURCES: In addition to Gathering Storm, strategic resources have a special role: they now serve as fuel for power plants and are used to generate electricity in cities.
• ENGINEERING PROJECTS: change the world and conquer nature. Build canals, dams, tunnels and railways. When laying new cities, keep in mind that coastal lowlands can be flooded. On the other hand, at the final stage of the game, new technologies (for example, seawalls) will help protect the coast from the elements.
• WORLD CONGRESS: let your voice be heard by the whole world. Earn diplomatic approval by forging alliances, influencing city-states, and participating in the World Games.
• TECHNOLOGIES AND SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS OF THE 21st CENTURY: a new era has appeared in the tree of technologies and social institutions. To survive natural disasters, future technologies will help you, such as sea settlements and methods of capturing atmospheric carbon.
• NEW LEADERS AND POWERS: Nine leaders and eight powers have been added. Each leader and each civilization has unique advantages and a different playstyle. Also in the game will be nine unique units, four buildings, three upgrades, two districts and one governor.
• New Scenarios:
- "Black Death" - The "Black Death", which raged in Europe and the Middle East in the middle of the XIV century, claimed more human lives than any other event in the history of mankind. Millions of people have become victims of the pandemic, entire countries have disappeared from the map, ruling dynasties have been cut short. European civilization has changed forever.
- "War Machine" - on the eve of the First World War, the German General Staff developed a daring plan: to invade neutral Belgium and from there strike at the center of France, without giving it the opportunity to mobilize.
• NEW CONTENT: Added seven new wonders of the world, seven wonders of nature, 18 units, 15 upgrades, 9 buildings, 5 districts, 2 city packs, 9 technologies, and 10 social institutions.
• IMPROVED GAMEPLAY: The espionage system has been updated with new options, cultural and scientific victory conditions have been changed, new historical moments have been added, and existing systems have been tweaked.

Activation

1. You need to download and install Steam http://steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi (if not already installed)
2. Launch the Steam client
3. Create a new Steam account or log into an existing one
4. Go to the "Games" section and select "Activate on Steam"
5. Enter the activation key you purchased
6. After that, the game will appear in your list of games and you can install it
